Lobster King sells fresh-caught Florida Keys seafood, shipped overnight straight from their boats. Platform stores like Shopify wanted a monthly fee plus apps plus transaction cuts — forever — for a catalog the owners already knew how to run.

We built them a custom headless store instead: a fast product catalog, cart, and a custom checkout running on Square payments. Card processing is the only per-sale cost — there is no monthly platform fee, no app subscriptions, and no platform taking a slice of every lobster.
The storefront handles the details a seafood business actually has: shipping cutoffs for overnight delivery, temperature-controlled packaging messaging, and a catalog the owners update themselves. It’s the e-commerce version of the same promise — pay to build it once, own it outright.
